This is my first post, but take it seriously please. I have a question.

We all know that flatulence is flammable. Being such, would it be reasonable at all to use everyone's daily and nightly flatulence aboard a space vehicle to power their space craft? I don't know the average amount of daily flatulence produced by humans, but it must be a lot. The diet aboard a space craft could actually be designed to produce more flatulence per individual.

It seems to me that a system could easily be designed to transfer everyone's flatulence through some kind of tube device into a holding tank where it can stored and used to fire up their propulsion system to some degree or other.

Has NASA or anyone ever looked into this? If not, shouldn't they?

We know that shuttle smelled very bad after each mission. So something should be done about it ?

Maybe a greenhouse that eats the co2 ?
