I'm going to use an automotive turbocharger to power the turbopump. Here is the pedestal mount that contains the oil return and the shroud for the HP air jets.

How wondrous the diversity of elements the universe has supplied us!
That allows us to have such wonderful toys!

Merry Christmas!

Well 2015 was a banner year for the team.

Looking forward to making some very interesting post this year.

And check out the new website www.teamprometheus.org

I'll be adding build logs this year.

Cheers!

Still making progress! We needed the 5 Axis machine to finish the turbopump project and I've made good progress with it. I can not post photo's of it just yet as we plan to sell these. The shop is going well I just put up a 100ft antenna tower. I still need to build the alt/as mount for the antenna. We will be tracking cubesats with it. I will post some photo's of that soon.

We made a large jump in avionics which will be helpful to the entire rocket community but I'm looking at legal issues and making sure everything is on the up and up. I will be able to demonstrate that system soon. I've also been working with SatNOGS in an effort to make tracking something amateurs can do.

Keep looking up! You will see us soon.

Looks like about another month I'll finish the 5-Axis machine. Lots of work designing and prototyping a machine like this. But if you can't buy one out right it's your only alternative.

Just picked up an older HP scope/logic analyzer (MSO) for debugging flight controls.

Man it was hot this summer!

Nice to hear things are still plodding along, the summer in the UK this year has not been too bad either way.

After nearly 2 years of development the 5 Axis "Harp Fabricator" is nearly complete and we can begin manufacturing and testing turbopump impellers.

The goal being selling some of the machines to help fund our projects.

I have been keeping my head down and working hard along with our prime investor to make our company profitable enough to continue development on the space effort.

Lots of announcements about the company and hopefully more progress on the X12A and getting back to working with amateur ground tracking with SatNogs and continuing the effort to achieve some first.

That was a hell of a lot of work to develop this machine and I sure hope we can make it pay off. It's truly difficult to bootstrap an aerospace company and make it actually work.

Let's see how this next 6 month goes.

The shop sure has changed but it really all depends on how well we can do with this new machine.

By the way I was fishing in another pond when I started the harp fabricator and the 5-axis project here 2 years ago http://diydrones.com/group/diydrones-cn ... fabricator
