Aera Corp. names financial officer

TEMECULA, Calif., APRIL 15, 2005 – Tom Bressan has joined AERA Corporation as Chief Financial Officer, where he will oversee the acquisition of funds to take the next steps in completing the company’s mission of launching tourists into space as well as the ongoing financial operations of AERA.

“Tom Bressan joins our firm with more than two decades of experience in acquisition of venture capital, asset management and financial analysis,” said Bill Sprague, President, CEO and Chief Scientist of Aera Corporation. “We are looking at the first of several rockets which will begin taking tourists into space in 2006. Tom’s financial and management experience will be vital as the company expands.”

Bressan will be responsible for all financial matters including acquiring and managing the company’s funds as it builds its first two rockets and begins selling reservations for flights into space. AERA is also working with Heller Ehrman, one of the leading firms on the West Coast in the acquisition of venture capital.

“We expect to have an announcement on the acquisition of our next round of funding before the end of the second quarter and will begin taking reservations shortly,” said Bressan.

Before joining AERA Corporation, Bressan was the general manager at the Guardian Jet Center in Ontario and held a variety of other financial-related positions at the Empire Companies in Ontario , California . Prior to joining Empire Companies, Bressan was Managing Director of the Milhous Group, a private equity group specializing in mergers and acquisitions and the management of a portfolio of companies.

Bressan also spent 10 years in Corporate Finance with three major financial institutions. Bressan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance.
