The Space Show, hosted by David Livingston at www.TheSpaceShow.com, will have the following guests this week:

1. Monday, April 14, 2014, 2-3:30 PM PDT (21-22:30 GMT)
, Director of Flight Operations for Elysium Space Burial.
Mr. Stroozas is an MIT graduate who has spent the last 25+ years working in the space industry, and has loved every minute of it!  His main expertise is in spacecraft and payload science and mission operations, operations management, and systems engineering.

In addition to supporting various commercial enterprises, he has provided operational, technical, and/or managerial support for 5 NASA missions: EUVE and THEMIS at U.C. Berkeley, GP-B at Stanford University, and Kepler and SOFIA at NASA Ames Research Center.  Since 2002 Mr. Stroozas has been an independent aerospace consultant operating under the Stroozas FlightOps banner (www.stroozas.com).  In the middle of 2013 Mr. Stroozas was also pleased to join the Elysium Space team as Director of Flight Operations.  He is very excited to be participating in this NewSpace start-up venture, with its many opportunities and challenges, as Elysium Space paves the way in providing widespread access to space through high-value and meaningful memorial services.  But, in particular, Mr. Stroozas is thrilled to be able to share his love of space with others; to humbly play a role in assisting bereaved families in honoring, memorializing, and celebrating the lives of their departed loved ones in unique and dignified ways; and in the process to help make the wonder, grandeur, and beauty of space more personal to all involved.
