DR. CURT BILBY
, CEO OF TERAPIO, returns for updates on RLIP76.
Dr. Curt Bilby, the President and CEO of Terapio since 2007, has over twenty years of executive leadership experience in the biotechnology, healthcare and information technology sectors both domestically and in Europe. Previously, Dr. Bilby was President and CEO of Seahawk Biosystems Corporation which developed a biosensor based on technology developed at the Naval Research Laboratory. Prior to that, he was the Chairman and CEO of Evacyte Corporation, a company developing laser-based cancer detection and cell diagnostics using technology developed at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Bilby also served as the Président-Directeur Général of the multi-national company Eurimed, S.A. headquartered in Paris, France. Dr. Bilby has engineering degrees from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Auburn University and conducted his doctoral work at The University of Texas at Austin. Of note is his selection as a Distinguished Young Alumnus of Rose-Hulman where he was also awarded an honorary doctorate.

DOUG MESSIER

Douglas Messier is Managing Editor of ParabolicArc.com, a daily blog that covers commercial space and much more. He is a skilled writer and analyst with more than two decades of experience in covering space exploration and conveying complex scientific and policy issues to the public. Over his varied career, Doug has held a number of positions: analyst at a Fortune 500 company; software tester for a start-up company; manager of distance education at a small, for-profit university; science editor and curriculum developer; biographer of a Mormon missionary; and scriptwriter who has pitched stories to Star Trek. He is the author of Carl: The Biography of William Carl Condie, a 222-page privately published biography of a beloved grandfather.  Douglas now resides near Mojave, California to be where the “action” is for the suborbital and NewSpace part of the industry.  He serves as Director of Testing, Communications and Social Outreach for an entrepreneurial software company. He is a graduate of the International Space University Summer Session Program and the George Washington University, where he studied under John Logsdon at the Space Policy Institute. He has an undergraduate degree in journalism.

Liz Kennick
of Teachers In Space returns with important new news regarding the organization.
Elizabeth (Gallager) Kennick is the Project Manager and Principal Investigator for the Space Frontier Foundation Teachers in Space Program. Ms. Kennick is also a Producer at TEDxMidTownNY , Advisory Board Member and Space Ventures Project Manager at Space Frontier Foundation, Executive Board Member at Yuri’s Night Global Space Party, a Guide at Dynamic Outdoors and a former VP at Morgan Stanley.
