Zero-G Prizes

In a presentation at Space Frontier Foundation’s Return to the Moon V conference, Gene Meyers of Space Island Group said the X Prize was an inspiration.

A corporate sponsor will soon be announced for Space Island Group’s Zero-Gravity Sports Contest, Meyers said. The fully funded competition will begin this October in 40,000 U.S. high schools, with students challenged to create sports that can be played inside a zero-gravity sports arena.
