Space Adventures Mission Update: 48 hours to launch

In less than 48 hours, on Saturday, April 7 at 1:31 p.m. (EDT), Charles Simonyi, Ph.D., Space Adventures’ fifth orbital client, is set to launch onboard a Soyuz TMA spacecraft, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome en route to the International Space Station (ISS). For this mission, Dr. Simonyi joins the Expedition 15 commander Fydor Yutchikhin and flight engineer Oleg Kotov.

NASA TV will be covering the launch, as well as all other mission milestones. You can watch the coverage via your local cable or satellite provider, or online at http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/. Below is a listing of NASA’s Expedition 15 coverage.
