ARCA Space released a document with to inform the media and public about the next steps that will be made on the STABILO program. The document contains data about the past flights that lead to the current development of the STABILO program. Beside the flight tests that were completed until now, a lot of ground tests, such pressure fuel tank and engine tests were completed. Those tests are not subject of this paper.

The Demonstrators - rocket vehicles developed by ARCA during the X Prize Competition (2001-2004). The main purpose of these
vehicles was to test and maturate the technology for the STABILO program.

STABILO - Manned space system designed after the end of the X Prize Competition. (2005- ). This system uses the technology that was
previously tested during the Demonstrators Program. It has two stages: first stage, a Solar Montgolfier balloon and second stage a rocketpowered
