AUSTIN SpaceShot founder and CEO Sam Dinkin and Rocketplane® Astronaut John Herrington will be appearing together live on the Space Show (http://www.thespaceshow.com) Friday morning, January6 from 9:30-11:00 AM PST.

Former NASA astronaut and Navy test pilot, John B. Herrington, is VP of Flight Operations and leading testing of the Rocketplane XP. The XP is scheduled for a first test flight in 2006 and first SpaceShot flight in 2007. Herrington will also be the pilot for all Rocketplane XP flights. The Space Show is hosted by the witty and prolific space journalist, David Livingston. Livingston is also a SpaceShot advisory board member.

SpaceShot expects to commence final beta testing on production server hardware and hosting environment soon. Following the private test there will be a public beta test where participants can begin competing in a single elimination tournament to win suborbital spaceflights.
