Space Shuttle Discovery Back in Florida After Ferry Flight

(NASA) – Space shuttle Discovery, riding atop a 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Fla., Sept. 21, ending the two-day, 2,500-mile ferry flight from Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. Shuttle Discovery completed its STS-128 mission Sept. 11 with an Edwards landing when weather conditions prevented a landing at Kennedy.
