NASA Awards Contract to Support Science Research, Development

MOFFETT FIELD, Calif., (NASA) — NASA has awarded a new contract to Dynamac Corp., Rockville, Md., for science-related research and technology development services at NASA’s Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif. The contract has a maximum value of $20 million.

This is a cost-plus fixed-fee single award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract that begins Sept. 1, 2009. The base contract lasts two years and has three one-year options.



Under the terms of the contract, the company will support the Science Directorate at NASA Ames and conduct research and technology development, support programs and projects, develop missions and serve the science community in the Space Science and Astrobiology, Earth Sciences and Space Biosciences Divisions.

The contract with Dynamac Corp., includes a subcontract with Wyle Laboratories Inc.’s Integrated Science and Engineering Group, Houston.
