Wouldnt it be just more difficult to land a suborbital plane between mountains? Unless it can land vertically off course

In my last answer I spoke of SS1 but concerning landing betwwen mountains I Thought of those XPRIZE-vehicles only that are launching an landing vertically. SS1 from my point of view isn't a solution for airports/spaceports placed between high mountaines.

I think the early space age and the fast developement 1959-1980, nowadays developement seem to have stalled compared to these days, only China are having space fever.

We barely need more developement to get into space. technology is there, we just need to get people who want to get into space and make a busseniss out of it, so it pays itself off.
There aren't simply enough people with the will ánd the money. |
