It's time for the X-Prize committee to make the decision.

Brian Feeney's time is literally hours away from running out.
Should the X-Prize committee now remove "The Da Vinci Project" from the X-Prize webpages to keep the X-Prize committee from receiving a public "black eye" for supporting Brian Feeney's NOW broken promises? I am reluctant to call Brian Feeney a fraud, because you need LEGAL proof to risk labeling someone as a FRAUD....otherwise, it's libel. (1) Would you risk a lawsuit that could ruin your life? (2) However, Brian Feeney has made money on his website, selling artifacts and souvenirs. And his "rocket" could easily make money for "Golden Casino" as a pay-to-see exhibit, repaying the investment that that business gave Brian. Notice that I'm not saying that was Brian's motive and agenda, avoiding libel. I wish I could be proven wrong in the next few hours. |

Can it be made sure that there is no communication between Feeney and the XPRIZE Foundation about what's going on with Wild Fire and the ballon and what's going on concerning the unavailable parts of the vehicle?
I'm sure if the Foundation is thinking of Feeney as some of us here Dr. Diamandis and the other memebrs of the Foundation would be doing something and it would be made public. May be the Foundation knows something we here don't know but cannot make it public because it's no complete knowledge or bacause of political or diplomatical reasons that have nothing to do with Feeney. We should ask for some concretization of the parts that are unavailable and for what reasons (lack of money? damages (during transportation for example)? Ask the team, ask Golden Palace and ask the Foundation - please... Dipl.-Volkswirt (bdvb) Augustin (Political Economist) |

"The Da Vinci Project" is far dead. The end of era. They are not coming back!
I checked the website. Time isn't ticking... Blue Ridge Nebula = The Da Vinci Project ![]() |

I don't know that daVinci has any obligation to tell Xprize Committe or any of us how their project is going. Likewise, I don't think Brian's screw-ups will have any impact on Xprize. After all the prize has been won by a very responsible team, and the media attention is mostly over. I'm personally entertained by watching the tail end of the daVinci trainwreck.

I can't believe we would try to push Brian from the X Prize family. For to do so, may be to overlook FB’s special talents and affections.
I return to my original parody of the Music Man posted Sept 20th, "Rain Man, (Feeney)when will you ever cross your line of morality?" FB is the perfect modern day embodiment of the Music Man. An apparently well meaning, enthusiastic individual, who on the surface is seeking to enliven a faltering community. But with questionable hidden motives that slowly come to light as the story unfolds. When the true charade becomes known, the townspeople's initial reaction is to drag out the tar and feathers. But as our story nears its climax the Music Man's cold heart is melted and he transforms into a real band leader for the town and a pseudo hero to all. Is there not a place for this type of character in the X-Prize? We need someone to keep pounding the drum, someone to wear the clown suit and carry the torch. Say what we may about the life 'O'Brian', but he hasn't really hurt anyone that much and I don't think he ever had intent to defraud anyone. He's a hard working SOB who believes in the quest for space to a point of delusion. He's taken action, when the rest of us only sit on the sidelines and jeer his comedy. Now as the 'peoples' X Prize transcends into a 'black tie optional' affair at GOP prices, I look forward to seeing FB crash the party again in blaze orange race gear clutching the magic helmet to his heart. Pound the drum Brian, blow the brass horn, and keep the people marching forward. You can still be a hero. _________________ The Magic Helmet |

Here is Brian Feeney's number:
416-633-2975 Yep! I called it today....A man [doesn't matter his name] answered.... It was one of Mr. Feeney's 'volunteers'. He was CAGEY in his replies. Apparently, there may be a lawsuit...[Kindersley against Mr. Feeney?] Good luck, if you want to use that telephone number. I already got Mr. Feeney's 'number'. |

After watching Ashlee Simpson's lip synching Saturaday Night Live. Oh boy. Brian Feeney is next victim to ruin people and fans who believe in him. He should say "X-PRIZE Screw you ! you ruin everything. I'm not selling my human soul to Rutan!!". That would solve his public issue.
Brian's rocket is design for public display for increase tourist attraction and .com gambler. Leave him alone. He's not coming back X-CUP game. ![]() |
