 Black Sky: The Race for Space Posted on: Sun Oct 17, 2004 11:52 pmFirst off, this is my first post here, so I would like to say hi to everyone.
Just wondering how many people watched this Discovery Channel Special on Burt Rutan and his Scaled Composites team. I found it to be a very interesting show, and I really enjoyed seeing the part about the Tier Two program. This was the first place I heard about a SpaceShipTwo, and I haven't heard much since then. It was also nice to see how close the people at Scaled are, it is almost like they are all family. Unfourtanatly I missed the second part of the series, which was about the X-Prize flights, and I have not heard of a repeat date yet. Did they reveal anything else about the future of Scaled's space efforts? |
