It's still awesome seeing it. Absolutely awesome. I want to do it myself! :)

Just look at the curvature of the earth. I'm still spellbound by it all.

Wicked... I get the same rolls everytime I try that with X-Plane :mrgreen:

I think this makes up not being born during the Apollo moon landings. Truly enchanting indeed.

Ah, cool - like most peeps, I struggled along watching the live webcasts.

The news telly channels here (UK) kept cutting out of the live link... and 'treated' us instead to some dull politician's boring speech :roll:

I'm told footage of a camera mounted the cockpit is available - guess I'll hunt around for that one.

The live webcast was just getting to the interesting part of Bert's remarks when it ended! Does anyone know what was said at the news conference after the webcast ended? Peter said there would be interesting announcements, what were they?
