(not related to xprize) awesome, i was gonna ask you when it was. i don't suppose you'll be having any events over here i could go to? The date isn't set.. but it is +- at the time Cathleen posted.. and no sorry.. no events planned in the US.. (it has nothing to do with the xprize.. so don't worry if you don't know) Oh yes, this info isn't ment to be public "yet", so all who have read it before.. please don't make it public.. I've removed the sentences in Cathleen her posts reffering to the event. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 Last edited by Sigurd on Mon Aug 23, 2004 1:34 am, edited 2 times in total. |

DAVE S. wrote: Hi to all from Kindersley Sask, Canada! I just found your site.... very interesting dialog! I am a life long resident of Kindersley and am willing to answer any questions you may have about Saskatchewan or Kindersley on any topic or subject.... I am interested and welcome any comments... Regards, Dave S. I will be there, leaving from Ed Thursday. I will be 'flying blind'. All the hotels have been booked for months so I rented an RV. If you could help with any of the following: Where do I park the pig legally where I can watch the event? Is there pizza and Chinese delivery, or should I learn how to RV cook? Where is the best breakfast restaurant in town? I like house special omelets and good, strong coffee. _________________ Kindersley or Bust! I would love to viist Kindersley.
But I imagine everything is now booked-up. The Da Vinci volunteers are probably already flocking into the place. I lived in Saskatoon in 1997. I better remember to take a parka in October, if I'm going. |

Thanx Dave.
Hump-tease is one of my favourites in Edmonton as well. There will be at least one smoker with me. Do they have any non-smoking bylaws in Kindersley? _________________ Kindersley or Bust! ("`-/")_.-'"``-.,, \. . `; -._( );, `) (v_,)' _ )`-. \ ``'` _.- _..-/ /((.' ((,.-' ((,/ |

Sorry, Dave.
I'm not going to Kindersley with no accomodation available; with everything booked up. I'm not going to sleep in my car on Oct/02 in a cold Saskatchewan night. Sorry! |

BABB Wagon is booked and paid for.
I didn't check all hotels before I rented it. I just phoned one, and they told me everything was booked. I believed them, and maybe I shouldn't have. We should be arriving Thursday night, and get a good RV spot. I should Google and contact RV parks in the area soon. Any local advice Dave; or go with the parking you mentioned earlier? I came to the conclusion that cooking our own breaky would probably be the simplest. _________________ Kindersley or Bust! ("`-/")_.-'"``-.,, \. . `; -._( );, `) (v_,)' _ )`-. \ ``'` _.- _..-/ /((.'
