DaVinci Launch???

My guess is that goldenpalace.com is requiring them to say that they're ready to launch in order to be sponsored. There is no doubt that the DaVinci team has gotten far more publicity by saying they're going for the xprize, than they would have otherwise.

After goldenpalace's stunt at the olympics, I looked at some of their advertising techniques.



Now normally this would be quite hilarious. The problem is that he did in the same pool as the sychronized diving finals, and almost certainly cost the chinese their gold medal (or any medal).

They routinely interrupt sporting events for cheap advertising. Goldenpalace is a business the world would be better without.

This is easily within their moral limitation on advertising.
