Just checking to see how everybody from down here did, considering our double-punch from Bonnie and Charley and (God help us) possibly even Danielle, especially since I know we have several folks in Orlando and Daytona.
As for me, Ocala didn't even get a respectable rain. We got a drizzle. No wind, no strong rain, no nothin'. We were all sittin' here wondering what all the fuss was about. My grandmother's old house down in Orlando (right off Conway) got totaled though. Let's just hope Danielle goes for Mexico. _________________ American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering In Memoriam... Thanks, we're going to keep trying to get in touch with them... Meanwhile, family and friends up in the Carolinas just lost power as well *sigh*

Yeah, a friend of mine's up in Virginia right now, and she and her two travel-mates are going to have to drive through that mess tomorrow (gotta be home when school starts tomorrow).
Well, at least it's just a tropical storm now. _________________ American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering In Memoriam... Apollo I - Soyuz I - Soyuz XI - STS-51L - STS-107 |

Don't know if they lost any planes, but that's pretty bad as it is. _________________ American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering In Memoriam... Hope you are all OK. We are getting flooding problems in South West England, Scotland and Wales from degraded tropical storms that track back over the Atlantic from you. If i see any bits of airplanes with an "N" registration or race cars after the next bout of storms, who should I post it back to?

Then I can put them all in a big brown paper bag and say "Car and plane kits for sale really cheap!" _________________ American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering In Memoriam...
