If you look closely, when the rocket plane is plummeting towards the planet, the planet looks an awful lot like mars. In fact it doesnt look like earth at all! weird.

Well, we won't have to wait 60 years for Hollywood to rape this historical event, it seems, then...

"In development" means nothing. Something like 90% or more of the movies Hollywood considers making never get made due to lack of getting financial packages together, etc. or the producer going with a more likely property. In my career as a writer, I've sold six options for movies to Hollywood producers. Some of them reached the "in development" stage but were never made.
When a movie is described as "in production," THEN you can get excited. --Ralph _________________ --Ralph Roberts CEO, Creativity, Inc. author of THE HUNDRED ACRE SPACESHIP http://1vid.com |

Heck, just look at all the movies made from Phillip Dick stories: "Screamers", "Total Recall", "Paycheck", "Minority Report". Oh, wait a minute... Phillip isn't around anymore... bad example

Take a gander also, if you will at such 'faithful' filmatizations as "Starship Troopers" and "I, Robot"... Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov would be loading their guns and going after the screenwriters, were they still alive...

I definitely agree on that point. But that makes you wonder how many authors would shoot people who made their books and ideas into films if they were still alive...
