My pick used to be "Solaris" (The George Cloony one), but it was demoted today by "Europa Report".
The people who made this should be shoved out an airlock without space suits. They turned what could have/should have been a pretty good space movie (even though it channeled way too much of "2010") into an unwatchable mess. By mid way thru I was hoping the crew would die the most horrible way possible (and at least have the courtesy to do so on screen) and fast forwarded thru all the pointless, totally unrealistic dithering. Wasn't worth the $1.50 rental, your average YouTube space video had better space footage and cinematography. |

Ender's Game disappointed me big time! People who'd read the book hyped it up way too much for me, and all the "if you haven't read the book, you won't get the movie!" talk killed the pleassure.
It was just a movie for 7year-olds, with an unrealistic plot. Only thing good about it was the CGI. I'd watch the Europa Report any day compared to that. Now I have to go back to reading Alastair Reynolds books again to get my head back into the space game! Revelation space-movies would be huge sellers. |

I think those who told you were right Enders Game movie was as a sketch to an oil painting master piece but as a movie i thought it was ok. On Alastair Reynolds books i sort of disagree with you I think each book deserves an big budget series rather than be crammed into a 90 min movie. _________________ Someone has to tilt at windmills.
