Here is yet some more particle tests, trying to model valences kinda worked, Now magnetism, and charge next..... _________________ Let not the bindings of society hold you back from improving it.... the masses follow where the bold explore. |

Are these modeling libraries you are adding or are you writing the algorithms yourself?

I am setting up fields that already exist on particles settings, and using them as a basis for electrons, atoms etc, I am still not anywhere near accuracy, but I am getting better, you can assign properties to empties like force, drag etc, that can also be compounded,
this one is made by having one force push them apart that falls off fast, and gravity is pulling them together(the shape of the container) and another field induces vortexes,a particle set is limited currently to two forces at once, unfortunately, this is where I am currently trying to write a script that can add X properties, so I can model real particle systems, such as hydrogen, electrons, helium and so on, its all open source so it should not be a huge hack in, but I am still a newb-o-potomass when it comes to coding python, as I got most of my coding in SecondLife I can add other forces as empties, but these only effect all particles based on there origin where as the particle fields effect from every particles origin, you can also use geometry to generate forces, so every vert generates a field. You are a smart guy, and blender has MANY free tutorials, you should get it and G.I.M.P. Generic photo manipulation program, and help me start modeling some of these ideas, and maybe even build a few real prototypes, I can answer any questions you have that I know, otherwise I would say go to blenderartists.org and blenderguru.com _________________ Let not the bindings of society hold you back from improving it.... the masses follow where the bold explore. |

Yeah, too busy to learn yet another tool. Plus I'm not much of a modelling guy.

lol Downloaded Blender. OMG Like looking up a mountain I have to climb and I'm at the bottom. Sooooo far and sooo much work. Still I'd like to get there. Working 45+ hours a week and going to school doesn't leave alot of time. Also playing Kerbal Space Agency is addictive. I WILL GET MY STATION INTO ORBIT!!

The cover for blender should be the same as the hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy,
Don't Panic! lol, just look up some tutorials, play, repeat, and then try and make something, and then, play some more, its pretty cool to be able to spit out an idea in 3 dimensions, I am working on a game now, I hope it does well, _________________ Let not the bindings of society hold you back from improving it.... the masses follow where the bold explore. |
