I have been making strides lately in 3d animation and simulation, if anyone would like an idea mocked up, or a simple simulation, or a small blender game engine game to demonstrate an idea, just drop me a line, or post in this thread, need help learning blender?
just ask... cheers _________________ Let not the bindings of society hold you back from improving it.... the masses follow where the bold explore. |

What does blender do?
Bob Clark _________________ Single-stage-to-orbit was already shown possible 50 years ago with the Titan II first stage. Contrary to popular belief, SSTO's in fact are actually easy. Just use the most efficient engines and stages at the same time, and the result will automatically be SSTO. Blog: http://exoscientist.blogspot.com |

Well I have two ides I'd love to try in X-Plane. They need to be in a compatible 3-D render. I can put ideas on a graph pad all day but have never worked with a cad program. So if this is something you'd be interested n looking at let me know.

Blender is like a mix of 3d animation and alot more, but you can use its physics engine or the blender game engine to build models, mock-ups and simulations, the game engine is for more complex stuff, like games or simulations requiring inputs, some people are trying to use blender as a robotics control suite......basically it can almost model anything

It's also open source and free, and runs on python, and can export to many 3d programs, and it can handle input and output streams for servo controls etc.

Next rendition, the only thing missing is the shock boundary, and dissolving rate calculations for hyper-sonic speed on different heat shield materials _________________ Let not the bindings of society hold you back from improving it.... the masses follow where the bold explore. |
