I was impressed by the blue diamond exhaust tho i assume it was a hydrocarbon fuel as there did seem to be a bit of soot around. _________________ Someone has to tilt at windmills. So that we know what to do when the real giants come!!!! |

Wikipedia says the Long March 2F burns UDMH with N2O4 in all its stages. UDMH does have carbon in it, but less than half the amount kerosine has. Does look a lot neater than a Space Shuttle SRB, but UDMH is really nasty stuff...
