Plenty of people here beavering away on new designs and technology with no money.
If you have money you might be better off picking one of those up. Its a turn key space agency _________________ What goes up better doggone well stay up! - Morgan Gravitronics, Company Slogan. |

Yup, I have hundreds of ideas, and I probably have thousands of anti-ideas, things I've dreamt up, thought about for a while, and then realised they can't work. My knowledge is very broad, and deep in a few spots. I'm interested in just about everything, and I've learned a little about a lot.
Can you clarify a few questions that I have? Is this gonna be just a generic Space Agency that does a bit of everything or do you intend to find a niche and become a specialist? How is it going to be funded. Philanthropy, contracts, development of a profitable product or something else? Are you going to have an office somewhere, or just be a virtual online agency? I live in Ireland you see, and I don't plan to move. thanks, and good luck, johno |

Some of them required many billions of $currency though and some aren't directly space related but there are a few that could use some investment and development. Of course there are also a few that have no solid engineering theory behind them and will never work until that part is tackled. johno |

I can say i applaud you for taking a shot at this.
I know starting/joining a small aerospace company has been a dream of mine. Cost though has always been the hinderance to starting up though. Where are you planning on being based out of? any use for an EE? lol johno wrote: Yup, I have hundreds of ideas, and I probably have thousands of anti-ideas, things I've dreamt up, thought about for a while, and then realised they can't work. Samuel,
Do you have a business plan? What kind of aerospace products or services will you be offering? Do you have substantial investment capital? Will your company be an LLC or a corporation? What state(s) will you be based out of? Do you have a website? _________________ Something is impossible until it isn't! |

I am interested in hearing more about your private space agency ideas and any private space ideas in general.

Quote: * No business plan yet. * I do not yet have a substantial investment capital. * put together a small space capsule that can transport 2 humans into orbit and back * in less than two years. Okay. This is not a spoof? You need one of three things to even have a chance, Incredible engineering skills, Incredible business plan or incredible amounts of money. Without one of those you have no way of differentiating yourself from the truckloads of people peddling your *exact* plan above. Even down to the super cliche 'two years' time line. Useful threads: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1051 viewtopic.php?f=17&t=798 viewtopic.php?t=1571 You need hard numbers on everything. _________________ What goes up better doggone well stay up! - Morgan Gravitronics, Company Slogan. |

EE stands for Electrical Engineer
