Team Prometheus will test fly the prototype Frednet Lander at FAR in the Mojave Desert on the 6th of March. There will be Live coverage on Livestream.
This is a 30sec. Test flight with a short hover and landing. This is a free flight with no tether. http://www.teamprometheus.org there will be updates on the blog as we near the completion of the Lander. Monroe _________________ Today's the day! We go into Space! |

woooo that's awesome!
ps, can you give me an update about what you're thinking balloon wise? will you be flying this spring or is the lander work pushing the next mission off? from my side, we've got stuff in the works to fly on a lockheed mission but we still want to do the balloon flight too. _________________ Cornell 2010- Applied and Engineering Physics Software Developer Also, check out my fractals |

No, in fact I was about to contact you NSE-2 is scheduled for March 20th and we need to get that rolling on your end ASAP. We are ready and planning the details.
Monroe We are constructing the balloon for this mission now. There will be a rockoon on this mission to test our new ignition system and heaters we are expecting our tracking system will work. We are testing transmissions now. _________________ Today's the day! We go into Space! |
