Not too sure if this will be repeated but there was a really cool hour long ISS documentary on last night. The show went out on Channel 5 in the UK and was part of the Big, Bigger, Biggest series. Anyway, thought id highlight it as i thought it was really cool! loads of interesting facts and videos!
Here is the tv guide review! Space Station The documentary series examines the technological advances that have led to the construction of the International Space Station, set to become one of the greatest engineering feats of all time, and scheduled for completion in 2011 Category Documentary 8.2/10 with 72 votes If anyone gets a chance to watch it then give it a go Not sure if people outside the UK can watch it but try this: http://demand.five.tv/Series.aspx?serie ... gerBiggest Rob _________________ > http://www.fullmoonclothing.com > http://www.facebook.com/robsastrophotography > robgoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk |

All you need is a proxy with an IP address from UK and it should be possible - haven't found a free one of those yet.

Found it on youtube:
5 parts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrANMpT8uGs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O1MdUS3Zys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkQvR0D1E2c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v74QDSogjeQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6b2oI-Wy3E hf! edit: now that I have seen it I can confirm that it is indeed quite interesting - I actually learned a few things I didn't know yet like the decompression chamber between Soyuz and Apollo. The only thing I have to criticize is that they keep talking about 10 crew members on the ISS (at least the CGI stuff shows that number)... dunno where they came up with that number. _________________ pride comes before a fall |
