We are not "inviting" the general public in the sense that there will be any kind of area set up for the public to spectate. But we cannot keep people from watching from nearby public property. Our biggest concern in not inviting fans is that our waiver requires 3rd party people and property be at least 1500 feet from the flight, and we already have enough to do without worrying about crowd control, and about someone straying to close for a photo op or something.

On a related note, the SpaceVidCast people are hoping to be webcasting again like they did last year, so hopefully if that works out, everyone will be able to follow along online.

Anyone planning on being nearby? I would like to hang out in the park and just meet some folks of like interest.

We saw you!

Approximately 9-11 am currently. But that could change...

Make sure you do not fly in, as a NOTAM will be in place. We will have the airstrips shut down over the day until we complete our operations.

Thank you, Armadillo Aerospace, for your hospitality during my visit to the Caddo Mills airport, yesterday. I have wanted to catch up with your team ever since I saw them fly in Alamogordo in 2007.
