Sorry to use this forum to brag about my kid, but, I can't help it. Proud dad and all...
My son entered this NASA contest. http://artcontest.larc.nasa.gov/ He worked on it for several weeks and put a lot of effort into getting the scene correct, to include asking for my amateur technical advice. He sketched out several different revisions and I was quite impressed when he showed me the final piece, I guess the judges were too - he did fairly well. He's going to NASA Headquarters to receive his award on July 20th, coinciding with Apollo 11 - 40th Anniversary celebration events. I couldn't help but volunteer to go along and "chaperone", I think I'm more excited about this than my art student kid. Thanks for reading my "annoying parent" post. |

I agree with Rob we don't mind posts like this, i even think it's pretty cool you get to go to the NASA HQ _________________ Science may set limits to knowledge, but should not set limits to imagination. |
