Sorry we haven't done an update in a while. Over the past week and a half, we really got into our injector testing for the 750lbf engine (XVT-750LIT-1). I haven't been out there for all of our tests, but I think we're up around 50 tests in the past week and a half (a mix of 4-5s runs, and longer 20-30s steady-state runs). I'm also working on wrapping up the design for the actual engine module that's being wrapped around this motor. And Dave's working on finishing up the structural design for our next vehicle-XA-0.1D (aka Xoid)...I'll put together a bigger update when I get the time.
We have a few newer videos here (along with videos from a trip that we took out to FAR last weekend): http://www.youtube.com/bbrockert ~Jon |

Here's a post-Space Access technical update, with some info about our vehicle and engine progress. Sorry if it's a bit terse--I've been fairly sleep deprived lately.

To say it in the words of a fictional character: "Hell, it's about time!"

Did two more flights today. Also nice and stable. Hopefully testing an aluminum regen cooled engine tomorrow (same physical design as the copper 750 engine, but it has an anodization layer on the inside).

Fired the all-aluminum engine 7 times today. May do a few more firings this afternoon. So far, so good. It looks like we may have steady-stated one run.
