I got us a spot in the news!! We will rebroadcast this from the
website! Check it out. Greetings! I hope this note meets you well. My name is Crestina Chavez. I work at News 8 Austin. I received your feedback and think it would make a heckuva story. When are y'all available? I'm looking to do a story sometime next week. Perhaps Monday or Tuesday. Time is flexible. Keep in mind, we'd like to do it during a time we can get some good stuff visually. So, if if you have a better time, let me know. Sounds like a real cool story! Let me know what's the best time to do it. You'll find more contact information down below. Regards, Crestina Crestina Chavez News 8 Austin Evening Anchor I'm working on a motor for display right now! Any good Ideas???? about things to mention? and Please let me know ASAP I want to mention the Space Fellowship who besides Rob G should I include. _________________ Today's the day! We go into Space! Monroe,,
Congratulations on the News spot! I hope it gets relayed back here! Might be worth mentioning about how the prize started, half bakery etc. Perhaps mention how the teams span across the world, and how your team in particular use people from very different walks of life! Mentioning the Space Fellowship seems like a good idea! We have a lot of people working on the Space Fellowship, we are of course very grateful for everyone involved from moderators, active forum participants and even those who just stop by to have a read! Though i hope the environment here makes those people feel they can sign up and join in the chat! Good luck on the talk! Perhaps try and sell private spaceflight a little, always going to get naive people laugh at companies and organisations doing it! Maybe SpaceX could be one name you could drop in as a company who have gone into space with their rockets? Great Rob, good. John C. is allowing us to mention AA and we plan to use some video from their site to plug them. Do you have any video we could use? Space-X is a great Idea I hope we can get permission to use some of their video. Any idea how or who to contact there?????

SpaceX has a big media section that i doubt you need permission to use in news spots.
on that vein, they're launching Falcon 9 VERY soon, you might want to wait and incorporate that event into your news spot, and get them to do a bigger story, with you being the people actually doing it in their back yard. eg you might get more than 90 sec and get them to do a feature story or something. obviously not as glamorous for prometheus, but lets face it spacex is awesome and people pay attention to stuff that big a lot easier. _________________ Cornell 2010- Applied and Engineering Physics Software Developer Also, check out my fractals |

I hear you. and yep. The interview is officially secluded for 1-14-09 at 10am CST we are now committed. Should air on 1-29-09 is what I'm told. I really don’t think there would be a problem mentioning Space-X but what if? I guess we will decide that at the meeting tonight.

No. I didn’t I’m looking for it however. I did notice Elon is the man at Tesla Motors that surprised me I didn’t know his connection there. I find it a little irritating this man is doing exactly what I wanted to do on TWO fronts. Quite an interesting fellow looks like space is all the rage with the big playboys from the .com era. Blue Origin is making some moves behind the scenes, looks like a good year for space people like us!

Sorry the photo's are so bad! We have some better one's coming! This is a MODEL of our second stage the fins are for show. This is a 70% model of what will be launched from the balloon platform without the 3rd stage or the gas gun 4th stage. The nose cone is for show also our actual nose cone will be a lot longer! This was the best we could do in the time allowed. It is 23ft long and 8" in diameter with 4ft wing span. Constructed in our garage for the presentation. Monroe _________________ Today's the day!
