Guys,
A video for you! According to spaceports.blogspot.com, the People's Republic of China rocket scientists and engineers are planning a "place in heaven" called Tiangong 1. - 2011 to 2012 time frame - Video Here - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JvVFjzO-99o Also interestingly, "The Long March 5 booster is being planned to boost space labs and space stations and perhaps using the new booster to break earth orbit for a human fly around of the moon." Any thoughts? _________________ > http://www.fullmoonclothing.com > http://www.facebook.com/robsastrophotography > robgoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk |

I noticed they launched a satellite with all solid fuel into orbit! That is of particular interest. There isn’t a lot of data out there yet about that launcher but it got my attention.

Interesting, so could this be a step before the moon, although 2011-2012 seems pretty close, would that be the date they start launching station components?
Iain (B.T.W Monroe check out ESA's Vega, they are developing, thats all solids, also Taurus from Orbital Sciences) |

Thanks for the tip Iain I am getting more interested in solids to orbit as a commercial launcher.
