Sunday 7:00 PM CST Team Prometheus successfully tested our first solid rocket motor. It was a small test after rain destroyed our first rocket motor so we quickly made a smaller motor from the left over fuel from the destroyed motors construction. We were pleased with the first test and learned a lot! We are now working on our Hydrogen gas generator for our Near Space Expedition on the 31st. We will then return to motor testing. We have several new members Including Steve Bradley from the SCSG X-Prize team and Brian Nackerud an Aerospace Engineer and Our new Draftsman Tim. We are trying to work out some Media aid with Richard Williams from Media Fusion. The test is posted at http://groups.google.com/group/n-prize?hl=en

We rushed that test becase we had promised one. We have learned a lot from the test. We are just getting started! It was fun anyway! We are going back to our bigger motor and launch system. So we will post a more realistic motor test over the next few days. the video is withdrawn. We will continue onward.
