I keep hearing that NASA cannot do what it needs to because congress will not pay for it. (it also seems like congress make certain ridiculous requirements just to make NASA's job harder.) Where is the NASA site where I can donate a few $k to the one government program I approve of?

NASA won't get any more money if you donate...
Congress would just say: "Hmm... public is supporting it with X amount, so we can spend X less on them!" and probably just spend more on Iraq |

IrquiM is correct.
I never would donate to NASA because it is governmental and obeys to political rules - the donation wouldn't be used the right way. Next NASA's program is uneconomic. Dipl.-Volkswirt (bdvb) augustin (Political Economist) |

Nasa should take a page out of the Russians book and try some capitalistic ideas if needs more cash. Like pinting the Shuttle ET bright red with a big coca-cola logo, or taking paying tourists.
