New update for March 08
http://www.starchaser.co.uk/index.php?v ... group=news http://www.starchaser.co.uk/index.php?v ... pb_march08 Starchaser developing large HTPB Fuel Grains,. I assume this is to help with the development of the LES for Starchaser 5 judging from previous updates. The sizes they are talking are quite large though. Iain |

If anyone has any pics or links then post them here please! Did anyone get up to the unveiling? Ill be interested to hear how it went! Also the test launches should be fun next year! maybe see some of you there Rob _________________ > http://www.fullmoonclothing.com > http://www.facebook.com/robsastrophotography > robgoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk |

They seems (or at least it was presented as if they did) to make a lot of launches. I don't remember any launches completed. They just widen their non-rocket business: collectables, education programs for schools, yet another web redesign, newsletters etc. A bit disappointing. It's good to hear about Nova 2. _________________ It's okay Pluto, I'm not a planet either. |

I have been killing time browsing the starchaser website and found a video of the churchill mk.1 injector water flow tests, in the video there are holes between the impinging elements which I can't decide what they are for,the injector is a doublet, looks like the holes could be holding the plates together? video here
http://www.starchaser.co.uk/index.php?v ... up=gallery Also in the ESA study paper they did, they mention that the Starchaser 5 booster could be powered by 4 Storm engines if need be, are they looking at this if the churchill mk.3 has not completed testing etc. if they are too fly by 2013? Paper here http://esamultimedia.esa.int/docs/gsp/c ... 342ExS.pdf There must be some starchaser members on the forum who must be able to shed some light? Iain |
