.
We have been not lucky about Earth's satellites, but... just imagine that we have MANY moons running around the Earth... like in this unique Flash animation: http://www.ghostnasa.com/posts/014manymoons.html . _________________ . I call it, "a not so" amazing "at all" flash animation. And what's the meaning of this topic ?

Does anyone remember Letraset Action Transfers? I used to love those when I was a kid. I bought the space diorama set 3 times. Unfortunately, I was about 13 at the time, so my older brother thought I was a bit retarded.

"amazing" is the dream to have had more than just one "big-rock" as moon (but many and much more interesting moons) the "meaning" is itself... maybe you can see it as space-art or a simulation of how possible exoearths (with many satellites) could look . _________________ . in the same page of the animation I've added a second (static) image with some moons seen from Earth in a city's skyline:

Here is my Moon animation. With music, so turn on your speakers.
http://home.austin.rr.com/campbelp/astro/scroll.html It is better if you get to it from this link, because it sizes the window properly to synchronize the music with the end of the scroll. It is the 5 minute musical tour. http://home.austin.rr.com/campbelp/astro/moon.html |
