I wonder if this board can reach the number of posts that an X-prize competitor would need to reach in feet altitude before they do it?

hehe, now look at http://www.genmay.com and look at the THREAD counts. that's another forum i visit occasionally, though not as much as this one. admittedly it's a general discussion board, but still..... busiest vBulletin forum in the world. anyways, this forum is still one of the smallest i know.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that 328 084 posts?

Given that we just reached 2000 I don't think that's very likely. Maybe by the time we have private earth to orbit?

Sorry, I wouldn't have harped back to that point but I'm doing my part to achieve the goal.

Maybe we could do it if we guaged it in tens of metres (10000).

 10 000 is a better choise.. instead of 100 000 with a lot of unrelated stuff to filter before you can find any good topic...
Or this forum should get moderators... and an off topic board...

7000th post!

Still not at 10,000 or 100,000 but what the hell.

Incidentally, no one seems to have declared the 3000th, 4000th, 5000th or 6000th post so probably no one actually cares.

Heres to another 70,000 posts, may the 70,000th post be made by a private individual from orbit!

on that note, what will happen to this forum when the contest is over? Will they keep it up for the Cup?
