For the past few days I have been getting redirected from the Space Fellowship page to a page for installing a utility called "CleanDisk" or "DiskCleaner" or something like that. First the IE window closes, then a popup saying something about tracking and viruses from porn sites that may be on my computer, then a window to install a product called "CleanDisk" opens. I am unable to navigate away from this window without closing IE and starting over. I have this problem on different computers, but only when visiting Space Fellowship, but it does not happen all the time. Maybe a few percent of the times that I visit. Is anybody else seeing this?

I have spybot at home, but have not run it recently. I have had this problem on my computer at home and at work. Needles to say the work computer is well protected, monitored and updated.

I suspect AdBrite (advertisement network) for showing these ads, I'm planning to disable them soon, as they provide low revenue rates compared to other networks we have anyway. I also disabled AdTegrity right away, they are a sub network of my primary advertiser, and somehow they get enabled over and over again due to some limitations in their control panel. (only other option would be to select all campaigns manually, would be too much work... , when nextgen is fully released.. we'll go for higher and better advertisement networks.. )

Oke, Matthew, then it certainly is AdBrite as the other one was already disabled. So there is no excuse left to keep them, I'll remove them later today.

I just got it again. It is "DriveCleaner". This time I took a screen capture so I can remember what it says. It was even more obnoxious than before, with multiple popups appearing when I try to close the windows. It has a little window in the lower right corner saying "Error Detected" and the main popup says there are "tracks of adult sites I have visited" (I haven't visited any). When I try to close it, another popup offering a download of DriveCleaner takes its place. When I close that one, the screen goes crazy with many different popups.

Please report if you still have this problem on the forum, the problem should be resolved, if not, it's probably an other advertisement agency.

It seems to be fixed now. I have not had any more of these popups.
