People who register between now and late 1Q of 2007 will have their account automaticly set as inactive until an administrator reviewed his or her account status. This is to bring the flooding of spam to an halt until the more advanced anti spamming tool is released with the new website.

To new users, sorry for the inconvienence for waiting before your account is set to active.

Good idea. The recent flood of spam does indicate that this forum has reachd the big time. It is important enough to be a target now.

I hope the new site its system (currenly in development) will be able to stop the large flood of spam. Spammers keep moving to newer and better techniques. We'll have to wait and see.

Personally I think the forum isn't that popular yet. Compared to other communities we're still starting to grow. Nextgen will really make a difference with that. Campbelp2002, do you have access to the in development site ?, the new forum is taking shape over there.

I don't think so. At least I have never been "over there" and don't see a link I could use to go someplace I never went before.
