Brilliant News, Amadillo got their FAA clearance.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15339434/ Lets hope they walk away with the prize money now. ![]() _________________ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. |

They just showed a little clip with the armadillo craft on there trug, but that was it... _________________ ![]() Last edited by Voyager4D on Fri Oct 20, 2006 2:36 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

Curse the campus internet, it's too slow!

As of a few minutes ago, the Armadillo team was moving the Pixel craft around. I have a couple of screen caps, but no way to upload them on this board?

I don't know about you folks, but after accidentally navigating away from the video page, I can't get it to work at all anymore.

Argh! It never gets done buffering. What's that mean?

Freaky, it works perfectly here.. it most likely means the server it connects to is too bussy (too slow to send you the video feed)... I would say.. keep trying.. and if nothing.. reload.. and try again! I'm myself wondering when we get more info from Armadillo on the live video feed! _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |

Armadillo is now almost 2 hours into their 2.5 hour window, and haven't lifted off yet. I really doubt they will be able to pull off a flight, refuel, another flight, and recovery in half an hour.
