Yesterday, the low was 49 and Atari_Guy advanced.
Today, two of our titans are back at it. We have another series between ARothfolk and crux42 in 5 matchups at levels 1-4. Player __ Hi °F_ Lo °F__ Pr "_ Hu % for Central Park, 10/1 crux42 ... 65.25 57.25 0.6025 95.25 ARothfolk 66.25 56.25 0.5525 75.25 The match will be decided on high temperature with ARothfolk winning if temperature is 66 or higher and crux42 if it is 65 or lower. Again ARothfolk has the red jersey. Last time these two were featured, crux42 triumphed with an extremely low prediction that beat ARothfolk by a little and the weather services by a lot even predicting over a half a day prior to the weather services. Today as of 9:45 AM Eastern Time, AccuWeather is predicting 65 and Customer Weather 64. ARothfolk is the underdog now. The weather game is played at http://www.space-shot.com For $3.50, make predictions by 11:59 PM for tomorrow's weather for Central Park, New York City. The grand prize has a retail value of $350,000; a trip to space selling for $250,000 and $100,000 in cash. High temperature decides with low, precipitation and humidity as tie breaks. Open to players 18 and over. The tournament has 17 levels and at each level, you play against someone just like you head to head for 131,000 entries per tournament. One $3.50 fee is all that is paid for the entire tournament. Sam Dinkin is CEO of SpaceShot, Inc. and can be reached at 888-434-6546 and dinkin@space-shot.com. |

Yesterday, the high was 68 and ARothfolk advanced.
Today's featured match has ARothfolk again vs. a newcomer. Thanks Crux, just trying to work my way back up to you, however, I seemed to be capped at level 5 right now.

On the 2nd, the high temperature was 68 giving ARothfolk the victory.
Player __ Hi °F_ Lo °F__ Pr "_ Hu % for Central Park, 10/3 crux42 ... 78.25 58.75 0.3225 95.75 ARothfolk 78.25 58.75 0.0025 52.75 On the third, we had two of our tournament leaders meet again. We had a rare match decided on precipitation when no precipitation was measured. Is crux42 getting sloppy with so many wins decided on temperature? Today, we feature crux42 and Kim. Last time we featured these two, Kim was the winner. Kim has not played as often as crux42 and is not at as high of a level and is a relative newcomer. Player _Hi °F_ Lo °F _ Pr "_ Hu % for Central Park, 10/4 crux42 77.25 63.25 0.2825 85.75 Kim .... 78.25 63.75 0.3725 62.25 Today as of 1:45 PM Eastern Time, AccuWeather is predicting 81 and Customer Weather 78. Kim has two weather service predictions closer than the leader's prediction. It's only 76 though so the afternoon's not over yet. Again, we feature crux42 and Kim. Yesterday, Kim predicted better when the high temperature came in at 78. crux42 is not invincible.
Player _Hi °F_ Lo °F _ Pr "_ Hu % for Central Park, 10/5 crux42 70.25 53.25 0.5575 85.25 Kim .... 63.25 52.25 0.0575 62.75 crux42 will have the better prediction at 67 or higher high temperature. Kim will have the better prediction at 66 or lower. Today as of 1:00 PM Eastern Time, AccuWeather is predicting 65 and Customer Weather 67. Kim has one weather service predictions closer than the leader's prediction. Both players are separated by 7 degrees so another player might have been able to beat crux42 by two or more degrees even if Kim does not. The weather game is played at http://www.space-shot.com For $3.50, make predictions by 11:59 PM for tomorrow's weather for Central Park, New York City. Crux is back and so is ARothfolk. Both played last week, but on different days--today they matched up. Perhaps players will try to coordinate using the new challenge topic in the user forum here.
On 10/16, the low was 62 which did give Crux the better prediction than wxbrief. In today's featured match: Player __ Hi °F_ Lo °F _Pr "_Hu % for Central Park, 10/24 Crux ...... 51.25 41.25 .0125 80.25 ARothfolk 51.75 40.75 .0025 50.75 Today as of noon Eastern Time, AccuWeather is predicting 52 and Customer Weather 52. This match will be decided on high temperature with 52 and higher going to ARothfolk and 51 and lower going to Crux. Open to players 18 and over; all ages coming soon. The tournament has 17 rounds of competition and in each round, you play against someone just like you head to head. As the players posted, ARothfolk did indeed win last week's featured match. This week, ARothfolk is featured against tommy who is a race car driver is the new challenger. ARothfolk the petro geologist is the veteran. tommy, if the number is blue, that means it is below 0°F. ARothfolk appears to have the advantage today. tommy learns fast so watch out next time.
