Just this moment I read a news delivered by the newsticker of www.welt.de saying that Nigeria might fly a Nigerian to the Moon in 2030.

They do have some oil money--and an older platform might work for an LV like OTRAG.

Yesterday again there was an article under www.welt.de saying that Nigeria wnats to land an astronuat on the Moon. The article said that Nigerais president Olusegun Obasanjo wants a Nigerian to be on the lunar surface in 2030.
The article was about Africa experiencing a little "Wirtschaftswunder" (german terminus for the german economic recovery under Minister of Economic Affairs Ludwig Erhard from 1949 to 1963 and under his directorate in 1948; don't know if it can be translated properly but if so I would choose "Economic Miracle") and mentioned the chinese launch of a nigerian satellite.
