I have noticed this press release on several sites, but I'm unable to verify any of the information... anyone knows more about it, or found any official company's website announcing it ? It sounds very idealistic.. so in my opinion it "can" be a hoax. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |

Couldn't find much information in Swedish either, but if you do, I'd be happy to at least help you make a summary of the most important facts.
But one thing is for sure, he's a government funded scientist, so I do not think it's a hoax |

Doesn't necessary mean Sweden is starting a space program. |

Yes, it is a paper exercise, but it's a serious one
You know how media is twisting things, you have to read between the lines to get the real story, every single time. Sweden cannot, and will not, in near future, have the ability to raise enough money on it's "space program" to fund anything like that. But the paper work can be done, and then someone might take it up from there on and forward. But this guy is an accomplished scientist in his field (material/structural science), and his work will be taken seriously! |
