JP Aerospace timeline?

Do you guys have any sort of timeline regarding when you expect to accomplish things?

ummm... if you read their site, I believe they've been accomplishing things for years ... with all the Away flights, Pongsats, etc.

Looks like a nice, steady program that's advancing along a well-planned path.

But if you mean (which rereading your posting you probably do), what's the schedule for future accomplishments, I would also find this of interest.

I'm really interested in their future goals. I couldn't find anything on their website for that. I know they've had some set backs with the Ascender program but I'd really love to know what they're hoping for in terms of getting to orbit. At this time I think JP Aerospace has one of the best concepts for lowering costs to space and I'd like to know more about their hoped for timeline with it.

i think jp said somewhere that they were shooting to finish the program in like 7 years.... i'm also interested in a more formal timeline though. formal being of course at this time, since obviously setbacks can't be predicted....

I doubt that JP would be able to give us a hard and fast schedule but they DO continue to keep us informed as to what they have done and what problems they face going forward. We get to see pics from near space, video of long desents and photos of real hardware(well...a lot of their hardware is actually on the "soft" side ). They have such an interesting scheme and I'm getting a real kick out of following their progress.

it's the pdf about the ATO where they are talking about being ready in seven years - the last page. It would be interesteing if they accelerate development to win the ASP I think.

didn't remember that, thanks for the reference. yeah i hope they accelerate the ATO program too in order to capture the ASP.

The .pdf about the ATO will be from 2004 I think. So the left seven years would end in 2011 - this could mean that they really spedd up a little bit to be ready one years earlier. It would be sufficient to save two months each year in average - if that is possible...
