Don't miss the NASA TV broadcast of the LCROSS results. Broadcast LIVE on Friday, November 13th at 9:00 am PST http://www.nasa.gov/ntv
Inside sources indicate some exciting news will be released... When NASA's Lunar Crater Observing and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) mission crashed into Cabeus Crater on the moon's south pole, October 9th, the team did find water in the form of, "Ice as we know it," according to multiple sources within the agency. "It will change the way we think about the moon. It is something we want to share with the world." - ( http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?sectio ... id=7115067 ) Will lunar ice be the game changer that many (including us) believe it to be? Will there be a "ice rush" to the moon? Will there be a demand for inexpensive lunar landers (like ours!) that can hop into the bottoms of these "cold trap" craters, do quick observations and then hop out before they cold soak? Ice in the polar craters will drive lunar exploration in the near term. Exciting days ahead. |
