“Near Space” military Aircraft on Fast Track

Sounds interesting, but when they say Near Space, 65,000 feet doesn't seem so high. Wasn't SpaceShipOne at 65 Miles above earth? That seems to be near space. |

It seems to be a kind of infrastructural component - especially with the capability to add the third dimension to the existing infrastructure.
And balloons - it's reminding me to JP Aerospace and perhaps one XPRIZE team. That they use the term "near space" seems to be caused by the altitude of operiation being higher than the altitude military planes are operating at. Dipl.-Volkswirt (bdvb) Augustin (Political Economist) |
