 Recycling technology for Mars missions Posted on: Mon Nov 15, 2004 12:21 pmAccording to the homepage of the german section of the Mars Society NASA has ordered a new recycling system for water which can recycle nearly 100% of water without maintenance for three years instead of the actual 90% only.
This will reduce the required amount of water to a weight of 2 to 3 tons. NASA has given the order to an industrial consortium instead of setting a Centennial Challenges Prize. Dipl.-Volkswirt (bdvb) Augustin (Political Economist) |
