Ken Schellenberg, who has adopted the alter-ego on his company website, wants to put a simple but highly engineered bottle rocket into orbit. This could be impossible, but the CEO of AntiGravity Research already holds the altitude record for boosting an elongated plastic pop bottle - propelled by a bicycle pump, water and a bit of soap - into the air. Errrrrr. thought id post it on the off chance that someone tells me sending pop bottles to space isnt crazy..... ill wait for a reply oh link to site here http://antigravityresearch.com/ _________________ > http://www.fullmoonclothing.com > http://www.facebook.com/robsastrophotography > robgoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk |

Well that reminds me of the good old days when I was a kid and wanted to send some sounding rockets with superconductors on top to see if they are strong enough not to shatter from accelleration stress. Heh those were the days... In any case his idea of reaching orbit is pretty mild when compared to some of the other crazy ideas floating around... _________________ I've become Death, the Destroyer of worlds... |

Quote: "It always takes me 10 times longer than I thought," he admits. "On the last world record I figured it would take a month, and it was about two years." Ain't that the truth. _________________ What goes up better doggone well stay up! - Morgan Gravitronics, Company Slogan. |
