Ares 5 is the perfect ride for this seeing that the large 150 meter radio telescope plannned for it would also have the same technology needed for the deployment of SPS--or anything with a large surface area.
The one-piece approach will cut assembly missions--allowing any SPS array to grow 120 tons at a time--not 20. |
