Have any of you tried this new feature from Google? Its called Google Earth. Basically it has satellite photos of the entire world. Its not fully developed for all parts of the world, though it does have atleast some level of satellite imagery for all part of the world. You can zoom right down on top of the great pyramids, or see Buckingham palace etc....

What I was thinking is it would be great if they created Google Moon and Google Mars, or say Google Solar System.

That is allow you to zoom into all the craters on the moon, or deep photos of mars, the various craters etc....

Serioulsy, check out Google Earth (its not the same as maps.google.com). It has a great interface. Its tons of fun and its free.

I have been playing with it, it's indeed very cool.

I think it would be very cool (and usefull for space businesses) to have a map from the moon and mars etc :)

To celebrate the anniversary of the moon landing Google put up:

moon.google.com

Its nowhere as sophisticated as Google Earth but its funny they came out with this days after I made the post. Things that make you go hmmm... talk about customer satisfaction :)BTW, for those interested you can get Google Earth here:
earth.google.com

Its very cool.
