 Who may be th first favorite? Posted on: Fri Oct 01, 2004 8:05 amThe engine of SSO on its first XPRIZE-flight has been shutdowned after a burn of 77 seconds but has had propellant for 89 seconds-burn.
After the 77 seconds-burn it reached an altitude of 101,? km. What altitude might SSO have reached at a 89 seconds-burn? And what signal might that be to their competitors competing for the CUP in the future? Will they modify their vehicles now to beat Scaled during the CUPs?
